The castles of Sologne
Cheverny
The particular interest of the Château de Cheverny lies in its splendid interior decoration from the Louis XII period. This is why Cheverny prevails over so many other Loire castles.
Blois
Classified as a historical monument since 1845, the royal castle of Blois presents a magnificent panorama of the art and history of the Loire castles.
Chambord
With its 128 meters of facade, 440 rooms and 365 chimneys, the Château de Chambord is the largest of the Loire châteaux. Former hunting meeting place of the Counts of Blois, the castle is nestled in the heart of a park of 5,500 hectares (including 4,500 of woods).
Chenonceau
Because it spans the Cher, whose waters reflect the unique beauty of its Renaissance architecture, the Château de Chenonceau is one of the jewels of the Loire Valley.
