The particular interest of the Château de Cheverny lies in its splendid interior decoration from the Louis XII period. This is why Cheverny prevails over so many other Loire castles.
Classified as a historical monument since 1845, the royal castle of Blois presents a magnificent panorama of the art and history of the Loire castles.
With its 128 meters of facade, 440 rooms and 365 chimneys, the Château de Chambord is the largest of the Loire châteaux. Former hunting meeting place of the Counts of Blois, the castle is nestled in the heart of a park of 5,500 hectares (including 4,500 of woods).
Because it spans the Cher, whose waters reflect the unique beauty of its Renaissance architecture, the Château de Chenonceau is one of the jewels of the Loire Valley.
It is located about thirty kilometers east of Tours and ten kilometers south of Amboise.
A local fortress. Fougères is distinguished from the great castles of the Loire by a sober and powerful architecture. The walls are made of hard Beauce limestone rubble...
In a green setting, in the middle of the vineyards, a few steps from Cheverny in Sologne, is the smallest castle in the Loire, the Château de Troussay.
Classified as a historical monument since 1840, the Beauregard estate is one of the jewels of the Loire Valley that leave unforgettable memories. Located in the golden square of the castles, this former hunting lodge of François I was the residence of the ministers of the kings of the 16th and 17th centuries.
Acquired by the Center Region in 2007, the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire has become an essential place in the field of art and gardens. The triple identity of the estate: heritage, art and gardening makes it a unique place in the circuit of the Loire castles.
