*Fishing is authorized on request and subject to availability.
The Domaine de la Rotière is made up of 60 hectares of woods and lakes, 4 lakes of 6, 2, 1 and 1 ha are dedicated to fishing exclusively for the tenants of the three Lodges, the other lakes are in a fish reserve and closed to fishing, monitored and guarded.
All our bodies of water have the particularity of being fairly flat (from 60 cm to 1.8 m in water height) which makes the bites and departures extremely visual, the fish fleeing towards the open sea often rewarding the fisherman of spectacular jumps!
Fishing is exclusively "no kill", landing mats and re-launching are mandatory, keepnets are prohibited.
For predators live fishing is prohibited, only fishing with lures or handled dead.
It is practiced only from the edge, without limitation of the number of rods or techniques, the bait boat is authorized.
Priming is not limited.
The large 6ha body of water, Etang de la Route, is dedicated to sport fishing for specimens:
The 3 ponds of 2, 1 and 1 ha including dedicated to carp fishing, frying and predators:
A high density of forage fish helps maintain a high density of large predators.
Every year, additional stocking of several tons is carried out to maintain this population, and an exogenous feed (based on cereals) is also distributed to herbivorous fish (carp) through an automatic distributor.
Given this population, modern carp fishing techniques work very well, both for catfish and sturgeon.
Coarse or match fishing can of course work for small and medium fish (roach, crucian, carp) which serve as forage fish.
A tennis court available to all tenants, equipment provided.
The tennis course is shared between the Etang lodge and the Sapinière lodge.
If you have forgotten them, rackets are at your disposal in each lodge and a bucket of balls awaits you on the tennis court.
The Domaine de la Rotière also offers you its 60 hectares of woods and ponds, its paths for walking or cycling, observing the fauna and picking up mushrooms (very good woods with chanterelles and porcini mushrooms depending on the season). As you walk through the property, we may be able to see deer, deer, wild boar, rabbits, pheasants, ducks, foxes, nutria, herons...
The forest of the Sologne territory is registered in the Natura 2000 network and covers three quarters of the Solognot country.
